If you are a indie or pro developer like me and you have some apps on the app store. More I am reading about this Ad stuff more I am getting hooked into. I can clearly see how one can make money if they do the right things. Well I am learning I would be posting my progress here in this post. I just found out that like Admob (Google company), Mopub (twitter Company) has also have mediation.
So I have Mopub added to my Admob. So would it be possible that Mopub would be giving me high eCPM that would be compare to Admob and then shown. I have yet to verify that. At this moment I am desperately looking for RevMob adapter for adMob so that I can get RevMob in for good money. I know I won’t be earning much with my current apps. Thats why I am planning to increase my apps in App Store.
So first of all get two pieces of info handy as mostly all network as for this info to fetch your app from Apple AppStore. App URL, if you happen to have its good if not use this link to get it. http://linkmaker.itunes.apple.com/en-us/
Just remove “geo.” out of this link as I have found that is expected by most of Ad networks OR ADN, As I would refer to save some keystrokes.
And second is Apple ID of App. I was being asked to me somewhere. I don’t remember exactly. Just keep it handy.
ADN which are easy to setup :
- AdMod (Of course)
- Mopub
- iAd :)
- Flurry: Was easy only I have to hunt for Project API key. Which I suppose is API key in App info.
ADN which required time to get approve:
- InMobi : Not big fan of their interface. its hard for first timer
- Facebook Audience Network
ADN that has no mediation way with AdMob
- [Updated ]RevMob : Not to mentioned that its highest paying network, according to all blog post that I have read till now. [Update] with my reencounter with REvMob I have found that RevMob took their repo out of github or made it private. My cocoa update is not going through. I took it out of my projects.
[This post is work in progress. I m only publishing it so that it can help anyone out there too]
