Why I have started liking Storj over Sia

Few reasons I like Storj over Sia

It has been less than a day that I am able to run StorjShare (aka Storj) and I have started liking it already. Here are the few reasons that’sats you might want know, why?

• You have to pay collateral to do Sia hosting. (I have paid 2085 in Sia Coins)
• Understanding collateral, pricing for Storage, pricing for upload and download bandwidth and max collateral (In face even the writing of this blog, I don’t possess great knowledge in this regards) is itself very difficult to understand
• Memory/RAM footprint, Holy-moly see the screenshot below

Even after paying 2085 SiaCoin as Colatteral 3 weeks later there is nothing. Node is available and running. I have not won any contract yet. You probably need to have the higher rank to get the contracts. I don’t know. All of my Siacoins are stuck while I am waiting to get contracts. Sia Coins aren’t doing too good on Crypto exchanges.

More updates would be coming as I get more experience with both. I have few unsuccessful attempts putting third decentralized storage call “MaidSafe”.
